"I Invented the Internet, Episode 1: The Audacity" tried to warn the American people on what they were electing last year for President. Sadly... just over HALF of those that voted did not listen... And we’re SOOO paying for it now!

John McCain, Next President of the United States - July 18, 2008

John McCain TV Ad: Love

Video posted on YouTube by JohnMcCaindotcom

***************************

The following is from the McCain Team
JohnMcCain.com

As Senator Obama finally heads overseas to see the situation in Iraq first-hand, we are releasing a new video, "The Obama Iraq Documentary: Whatever the Politics Demand" that explores Senator Obama's record of shifting political positions on the critical national security issue of Iraq.

Over the past year, both Barack Obama and John McCain have taken part in a great national debate over the war in Iraq. It quickly became clear that the Bush Administration was pursuing a failed strategy in Iraq and we needed change. John McCain alone had the courage and judgment to stand up and call for a surge of troops and a new strategy to win the war in Iraq - a strategy that is succeeding. Barack Obama repeatedly opposed the surge strategy, saying it would fail. John McCain made the right call at great political risk - he put his country first.

Today, we know Senator Obama was wrong, and rather than admit his mistake, Barack Obama is now trying to pretend that he was for the surge all along.
Click here to watch our new documentary and see his record for yourself.

Sadly, Senator Obama's actions are just more politics as usual. I don't know who should be more disappointed - the supporters whose faith in Senator Obama has already been betrayed, or the people who Senator Obama now expects to believe his new sales pitch. Either way, one thing is clear - Senator Obama has shown that he is just another politician.

Regards,

Rick Davis
Campaign Manager

Saturday
, May 31, 2008
FOXNews.com brings us this report this evening and it starts off like this... Barack Obama and his wife Michelle have resigned their membership at the Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, after controversies stemming from the church created a persistent distraction for Obama’s campaign... Obama said Saturday that he made the decision with “some sadness,” but that he had been discussing it with his family for “quite some time” and that he did not want to be a continuing burden on the congregation...

Clinton and Obama Lock in Iraq Positions during Pennsylvania Debate Wednesday Night

During April 16th Pennsylvania Debate, both Democrats left little room for changing their minds on Iraq
...
USNews.com brings us this report today and it goes in part like this... Both said they would begin withdrawals of U.S. troops soon after taking office and would move quickly to end the war. They didn't leave themselves much room to change their minds even if the military situation were altered or U.S. commanders gave a different recommendation. This could make it more difficult for each of them to be flexible during the general-election campaign and, more important, as commander in chief... "Only through our commitment to withdraw will the Iraqis begin to do what they have failed to do all of these years," Clinton said. "We don't know what will happen if we withdraw. We know what won't happen if we don't." Obama said, "The president sets the mission. The generals and our troops carry out that mission."...

* LA Times Blog Website has this bit of sounding off. It starts off like this... Amid a storm of criticism that Wednesday’s Democratic presidential debate focused too heavily on “gotcha” questions and not enough on substance, ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos defended his decision to ask Illinois Sen. Barack Obama about his relationship with former political radical William Ayers. Stephanopoulos denied he’d been spoon-fed the question by Fox News host Sean Hannity...

* Boston.com
reports...
ABC's Democratic debate from Philadelphia is getting panned in many quarters, but it did draw more viewers than any debate of the campaign... Nielsen Media Research reported that nearly 11 million viewers tuned in for the first weeknight, primetime forum on a broadcast network...Many of those who watched, particularly supporters of Barack Obama, were horrified, however. Commenters lit up blogs to say the debate was dominated by petty issues; some said it was the worst debate ever...
