9/11 How Soon We Forget - September 11, 2014

No matter what your political views might be... One thing is for certain. In these days of fast news and even faster life styles... We all seem to have forgotten those moments in history that so abruptly and tragically changed this beloved Country of ours...

9/11 How Soon We Forget - September 11, 2013

9/11 How Soon We Forget

-- VIDEO NO LONGER UP --

.

I made the above video/slide back in 2004 on the events of 9/11 the day… and as time slowly passed, up to one year later.

.

I would first like to tell you how this video came to be…

.

I was running down some music to use on my family website that I use to have up… and at the time was looking in a place I used from time to time that had GREAT midi files that a very talented man name Dan West wrote and composed.

.

That’s when I ran across his latest work that he had written and composed himself in memory of the victims of 9-11. His song was titled “Heartbreak Blues” and Dan had put it up on his website for all to listen too.

.

Anyway… to make a long story short… Dan’s music inspired me so… that I wrote him and asked his permission to use his music in a video/slide project I was wanting to work on and he was kind enough to say OK. And that I still thank him for.

.

Ok then… About the video. The very first part is put together pretty much in a perfect timeline as the events unfolded that tragic day on 9/11/2001. Then I go back and forth in time with the rest.

.

The 2^nd part, “Goodbyes”, after the credit roll, starts off at the footprints of the Twin Towers, one year later. It was early that morning on 9-11-2002 and the family members of the ones that lost their lives along with others came to say goodbye one more time.

.

The morning went from a calm clear morning at first then to being very windy and a dust storm whipped up. Some of the family members who were there said it was as if their loved ones had come down from heaven to say their last goodbyes too. Many said a chill was in the air and that a strange calm came over them.

.

After the first few pictures I move back and forth in time from days after 9-11-2001, as people from around the world mourned the dead and this tragedy to one year later, back at the footprints of the towers.

.

Why did I make this video some might ask? Well… I mainly made this video for my family and friends to watch once a year... and being you are reading this right now… you MUST be one or the other!!!

.

So again… this video/slide that I made is actually a 2-parter. The 1st part I call “9/11… How Soon We Forget”. Then after the credit roll is the 2nd part that I call “Goodbyes”. So be sure to watch it to the end.

.

Now for the record… I could have gone very graphic with this and almost did at first… but in the end I keep away from doing so for I wanted it to be able to be seen by both adults and children alike. Regardless, I still made it strong enough to get the point across as to just how violent and emotional of an event this really was.

Presidential Election 2012 - Connecticut, Delaware, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island Primaries

Presidential Election 2012

Today we have the…

Connecticut, Delaware, New York,

Pennsylvania, Rhode Island

Primaries

A Total of 231 Delegates up for Grabs

.

Tuesday, April 24th, 2012

Original Post time: 2:45pm CDT

I will be updating this post after Polls close this evening so check back!

.

Depending from whom one gets their Delegate Count totals from, today I’m using info from CNN News… The Total Delegate Count going into these April 24th Primaries are as follows: Mitt Romney 695 delegates - Rick Santorum 273 - Newt Gingrich 141 and Ron Paul 72.

.

1,144 delegates are needed for the Official Republican Nomination.

.

……………………………………..

While we wait for the results to come in tonight, I just have to say a few words about my former man, Newt…

.

After reading through many a political article over the last few days… I see Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and Campaign have been suggesting that the end may be finally near for the former House Speaker’s struggling presidential campaign. Especially if he fares poorly in today’s Delaware Republican Primary.

.

From what I’ve read… he has spent a LOT of time of late campaigning there and needs a 1^st or STRONG 2^nd place finish. I really don’t see this happening... SOOO…

.

We love ya Newt, but it’s over my friend. Time to stand aside and let Mitt and his Team go after President Obama with the complete backing of the Republican Party… and you!

.

I for one really do hope we hear a great speech out of you tonight, Newt. And then see you gracefully bow from the 2012 Presidential Race, throwing your FULL support behind Mitt Romney, the NEXT President of the United States. But if you cannot find yourself to do it tonight… at least make it so in the next few days.

.

With that said, we shall soon enough see how tonight’s events unfold.

Congrats MITT!!!

On your FIVE STATE Winning SWEEP!

Yes sir… It has been another great night for Mitt Romney with his BIG WINS in all FIVE STATES... And man… what a powerful, uplifting… Presidential Speech Mitt gave us just a while ago. POWERFUL STUFF!!!

Be sure to click it out at link below…

...

* Video- Mitt Romney’s “A Better America Begins Tonight” Speech

- Also tonight and at about the same time as Mitt’s speech was going on…

* Video- Newt Gingrich’s “This is the Most Important Election of Our Lifetime” Speech

NOTE: They were having problems with getting Newt’s video working as I posted this but the link has GOOD info on what he had to say, in part… and maybe they will get his speech up and running soon enough. For now, Newt… did acknowledge that he will need to consider whether to continue his campaign… “Over the next few days, we're going to look, realistically, at where we're at,” he said, promising to continue to campaign in North Carolina this week. “We're also going to think about how we can be most helpful to this country.”…

Read more/hopefully watch the video in full at link above.

.

And again… keep up with the latest election results in all five states at links above from Fox and CSPAN!

…………..……………..…..

.

Update:

Wednesday afternoon

“I do think it's pretty clear that Governor Romney is ultimately going to be the nominee and we're going to do everything we can to make sure that he is, in fact, effective and that we as a team are effective both in winning this fall and then, frankly, in governing.”

Newt Gingrich

…

The word is out this early Wednesday afternoon that Newt Gingrich will officially drop out of the 2012 Presidential Race in an upcoming event sometime this coming Tuesday, May 1st… And it is also being reported that it is all but certain that he WILL endorse Mitt Romney for President at this time.

.

As of right now… Newt will complete his North Carolina schedule as planned this week, making it into something of a goodbye tour. Good for you Newt. And I might add make it a memorable, powerful exit too.

Pressure’s on Hillary Clinton to Win and Win Big in Pennsylvania

Pressure’s on Hillary Clinton
To Win and Win Big
In Pennsylvania
* The Pennsylvania Primary *
Tuesday, April 22, 2008

ABCNews.com has this story out today and it begins like this... After six weeks of political backbiting, Pennsylvania voters have their say today in a primary vote that isn't expected to clarify what has become a dragged-out Democratic nomination battle between Sens. Barack Obama, D-Ill., and Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y. With Clinton leading in polls in the state, her expected win could fuel questions about why Obama hasn't been able to sew up the nomination, despite having more money, having won more states and a lead in the popular vote and pledged delegates, according to ABC News' delegate scorecard... However, Democrats say, a small victory by Clinton today won't be enough to turn momentum in her favor. Any win by her, they say, must be by a large margin of victory...

CBNNews.com has this report... Voters across Pennsylvania are showing up at the polls... With the prolonged primary battle between Sens. Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton so close, the Keystone state may play an unusually pivotal role in determining the nominee...

UPDATE: 9:00 pm CDT
All people in the know of the MSM are saying Hillary Clinton has won the Pennsylvania Primary and to me it’s looking like by a larger than expected margin too.

Congratulations go out to Hillary Clinton for having such a grand win today. Good luck to you too, I will add... with the battles you and Obama have left to fight over during the next few months.

You tha MAN, RUSH!!!
