if you don't want to have comments posted that take a different view from yours, it's ok to state that up front rather than simply deleting them... another alternative would be to let them stand so readers would be able to see them and draw their own conclusions... the downside of that is that it might leave readers with the impression that alternative viewpoints are acceptable... yet another alternative is to disable or remove the comment feature entirely as many other blogs have done in order to maintain a pure ideology... just some food for thought...
