Southeastern Iraq- Continuing to build partnership with Iraqi army, police and border-enforcement elements

British Commander- Maj. General Jim Dutton is commander of the Multinational Division Southeast-- 13,000-plus-troop multinational command and is made up of 7,900 British troops, 3,000 Italians, 640 Australians, 622 Romanians, 562 Japanese, 388 Danes, 97 Czechs, 33 Lithuanians, five Norwegians, and two Portuguese.

Those troops, along with Iraqi army and police forces, are charged with providing security for four southeastern Iraqi provinces, which make up an area half the size of Great Britain. Dutton's area of operations contains the cities of Nasiriyah, Basrah, and Umm Qasr, Iraq's only deep-water port……

Just how is it coming along down there???

What else would you expect the British Brass to say?

Would he say that they can't keep the weapons, bombs and Iranian terrorists, thugs and smugglers out of Iraq?

Would he say that the Mullahs and extreamists are murdering Iraqis in the streets and shops?

Would he say that human
rights of Iraqi's have been reduced to the level of the people in Iran?

Would he say that the British sector of responsibility is fast becoming an Iranian state?

No, he is just interested in training the very thugs and exteamists that will replace him and his British forces, allowing the British to return home.
