- Iraqi soldiers and policemen unload one of four trucks carrying nearly 8,000 lbs. of munitions to be destroyed in the desert outside of Karbala, Iraq, April 4, 2009. The mortar rounds, missiles and rockets confiscated from throughout Babel province have been accumulating at checkpoints and headquarters buildings. Iraqi forces worked with U.S. Army soldiers assigned to the 760th Explosive Ordnance Disposal Company to dispose of the munitions.
