New Zealand Suffers 7.1/7.4 Magnitude Earthquakes
Many folks in New Zealand were shaken up but so happy to still be alive after a powerful earthquake violently shook the city of Christchurch there early Saturday morning, Sept. 04, 2010 their time. Thankfully there have been no deaths reported from the quake but 2 people were known to have been seriously injured. So far they seem to have missed the loss of life that sadly comes with such an event. But... I wouldn’t doubt if those numbers changed over next day or so as more up to date info comes in.
Really hope not though...

Normally I do not post on these kinds of events but on this one I found myself compelled to do so. You see... I am one of those that play the game, EVONY and in the Alliance I’m in... one of our players lives in New Zealand. Not real far off from the center of this earthquake either.

Sadly his mom lives in the city hit hardest but thankfully she is well... though stuck in place with all the damage around town. Anyway... our thoughts and prayers go out to him and his mom and nothing but the best... as does our prayers for all those who got wrapped up in all this mess.
