Draw a Clear RED LINE America - Israeli Prime Minister Gives Powerful ‘Clear RED LINE Speech’ to UN on Iran’s Nuclear Program Ambitions

Draw a Clear RED LINE America
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu gives powerful ‘Clear RED LINE Speech’ to the UN on Iran’s Nuclear Program ambitions
(Very Powerful Stuff - Be sure to watch the full video below)
Thursday, September 27, 2012
.
Today, Thursday, September 27th, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu gave a very powerful and effective ‘Clear RED LINE Speech’ to the United Nations General Assembly… And I for one do so believe that many across the world finally woke up to the sad realities of just what is actually going on over there in that part of the world!
.
Just two days before, President Obama’s own UN speech disappointed so many Israelis by saying that America would do what it must to prevent Iran from becoming a nuclear power but stopped short to agreeing with Netanyahu’s demand that America set a specific ‘Red Line’ that Iran must not cross if it wishes to avoid military action.

Syria: On Ground Updates
‘Mother of All Battles’ Looms in Aleppo, Syria
Russia Says Tragedy Imminent

* NPR.org brings us the following report this Saturday afternoon and it starts off like this… Syrian rebels are taking a pounding in Aleppo, Syria's largest city but they continue to hold some neighborhoods where they've taken control. VOA reports the Syrian government is warning of “the mother of all battles” in the commercial hub, home to millions of people. Russia says a tragedy is "imminent."…

.
* The Chicago Tribune has this report that goes in part like this… In the wake of the Security Council vetoes by Russia and China, the United States has said it will seek ways to tackle the crisis outside the U.N. … [Japanese Foreign Minister Koichiro] Gemba said it was “very serious moment” in Syria and it was primarily up to the government to stop the bloodshed…

My Take:
.
On Saturday, July 28, 2012, Russia said a tragedy was imminent in Syria’s largest city, Aleppo. Now the way I see it, Russia saying a tragedy is IMMINENT in Syria is like Saddam Hussein saying a tragedy is imminent in northern Iraq against the Kurds, right before he gassed all those thousands of poor innocent men, women and children to death.
.
Like Saddam Hussein, Russia too has no clean hands here, in Syria, for they are supporting this ongoing mass murder by their strong political support and the supplying of arms to this brutal dictator Assad. Not to mention the fact that Russia, along with China, have vetoed three UN Security Council Sanctions against the Syrian regime which could have helped in putting a halt to some to most of all this senseless murder that has been going on for well over a year and a half now.

* CBC News had this AP report posted up early Saturday morning and it starts off like this… Turkey's president says his country would take the “necessary” action against Syria, a day after Damascus said it had shot a Turkish military plane that had entered its air space… Abdullah Gul said Saturday that Turkey was still trying to establish the exact circumstances of the incident but conceded the jet may have strayed into Syrian air space. He's convening another security meeting Saturday… Germany and Iraq urged Turkey and Syria to remain calm and not let the unrest in Syria become a wider conflict in the area…

* LATimes.com had this report posted up on their website early this Sunday morning and it goes in part like this. …Turkey has said it would act “with determination” once the facts were clarified… Turkey is a NATO member and was probably consulting the United States and other allies before deciding how to respond. But there was no public indication that Turkey was seeking support from North Atlantic Treaty Organization allies for retaliatory action

As said, all this mess will be settled through Diplomatic efforts -- NOT Military Might. That is as long as another shoe doesn’t drop on the situation all of a sudden, spinning everything out of control. In that part of the world… one never really knows.

My Take: Syria - May 31, 2012

My Take: Syria
Thursday, May 31, 2012
.
This is and has always been some really sad, troubling news out of Syria that really makes one irate over watching these innocent women, children and men being slaughtered in their homes and in the streets.
.
I’m not sure what it is going to take to make the world wake up and do something besides run their mouths over all this mess… But I’m still holding hope in the belief that the world will finally wake up and step in and SERIOUSLY do something about all these Syrian Massacres/War Crimes.
.
Yeah… you’re a real hero there, President Obama. NOT!!! You never have and NEVER will be the man President GW Bush was when he was in office either. I say this because President Bush put right ahead of politics and Party. You, President Obama… Not so much.
.
It seems to me that you’re too dang worried about your reelection this year and the political winds of the day to worry about anything like this.
.
President Obama, I just got to ask you... How in the world do you sleep at night knowing that 1000’s are being murdered in Syria… and you’re not seriously trying to end it? HOW!!!?
.
It took the World Powers and bad politics to pull you into the Libyan conflict… so I guess that’s about what it is going to take to get you off your duff and do something this time around too.
.
God forbid you lose face in the political arena and look weak, again… LIKE YOU REALLY ARE!

Iran Says They Have Shot Down A US Stealth Drone

Tehran Claims They Shot Down With "Little Damage" An RQ-170 Surveillance Drone
Monday, December 5, 2011
U.S. RQ-170 Sentinel Drone - Original illustration by Truthdowser – Found on Wikipedia.org website
.
* Fox News brings us the following report that starts off like this… Iran is in possession of a RQ-170 Sentinel drone that went missing over the Islamic Republic, U.S. military sources told Fox News on Monday… The Sentinel is the same kind of stealth high tech drone that was used to monitor the compound during the raid that killed Usama bin Laden in Pakistan, the sources said… The sources confirmed the Iranians have the drone, however, they did not say that the Iranians shot down the spy plane, as was reported by Iran's official IRNA news agency…
Read the full report at link below…
.
* The Telegraph has this take on the missing US Drone news... Tehran claims to have brought down with "little damage" an RQ-170 surveillance drone, considered one of the most secret aircraft in the world, flying inside eastern Iran… The seizure of the unarmed surveillance drone intact would give access to a treasure trove of classified information including the designs of the aircraft and its payload of sensors… However it was unlikely the drone had escaped a crash or being shot down without significant damage and its sensitive technology was probably rigged with self-destruct mechanisms, experts added… Suspicion surrounds the claims because Iran has yet to release any footage of the captured drone or its wreckage… NATO forces confirmed a drone went missing in Afghanistan near the Iranian border last week, though would not say what kind it was…

* BBC brings us the following report, with short news video and it starts off like this… Iranian TV has shown the first video footage of an advanced US drone aircraft that Tehran says it downed near the Afghan border… Images show Iranian military officials inspecting the RQ-170 Sentinel stealth aircraft which appears to be undamaged… US officials have acknowledged the loss of the unmanned plane, saying it had malfunctioned.. However, Iranian officials say its forces electronically hijacked the drone and steered it to the ground…

#2- Israeli Lead Up Report to Pre-Emptive Attack on Iran
More Mysterious Blasts, Computer Viruses, Assassinations Disrupt Iran’s Nuclear Program… Speculation of Israeli Involvement

..
* The Washington Post had the following AP report Thursday evening and it goes in part like this… “Israel is a sovereign state and it is the government of Israel, the Israeli army and security forces who are responsible for Israel’s security, future and survival,” he said… Mysterious blasts, computer viruses and assassinations have disrupted Iran’s nuclear program, and there has been speculation of Israeli involvement… Barak would not comment on that possibility, but said, “We are not happy to see the Iranians move ahead on this (program), so any delay, be it divine intervention or otherwise, is welcome.”…

* Here’s an interesting read at JPost.com I ran across late this Friday morning and it starts off like this… BERLIN – Iran plans to attack US armed forces stationed in Germany in the event of a US attack on its nuclear facilities, the mass-circulation Bild daily reported on Thursday… Authorities are investigating a German businessman suspected of espionage with intent to commit sabotage who they believe is in contact with the Iranian Embassy, according to the report… Read this report in full at link below…

* The Australian has this report posted-up on their website today and it starts off like this… The second blast in as many weeks at an atomic or missile facility has sparked Iranian denials and claims of accidents, but a new phase in efforts to destroy its nuclear ambitions is said to be under way… "Instead of overt action you have covert action. This is the new battlefront -- this is a new kind of war," an Israeli defence official said… The Israeli Defence Minister, in a radio interview yesterday, did little to dampen speculation that it had a role in the blast at Isfahan, located in central Iran, and an explosion at a missile base west of Tehran…

* Not to be left out… FoxNews.com had the following AP report posted-up on their website early Thursday evening and it starts off like this… Ignoring a presidential veto threat, the Democratic-controlled Senate on Thursday overwhelmingly approved a massive, $662 billion defense bill that would require the military to hold suspected terrorists linked to Al Qaeda or its affiliates, even those captured on U.S. soil… The vote was 93-7 for the bill authorizing money for military personnel, weapons systems, national security programs in the Energy Department, and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan in the fiscal year that began Oct. 1… Reflecting a period of austerity and a winding down of decade-old conflicts, the bill is $27 billion less than what President Barack Obama requested and $43 billion less than what Congress gave the Pentagon this year… Shortly before final passage, the Senate unanimously backed crippling sanctions on Iran as fears about Tehran developing a nuclear weapon outweighed concerns about driving up oil prices that would hit economically strapped Americans at the gas pump... The vote was 100-0…

POST UPDATE:
Sunday, December 04, 2011
.
* I ran across this article on The Telegraph website early this Sunday morning stateside and it starts off like this… His is not a face familiar to many in the West. But members of the rampaging Iranian mob which last week laid siege to the British Embassy in Tehran knew exactly what they were doing when they held aloft a picture of a grey-haired man, with downturned mouth and his beard more neatly trimmed than those of his country's religious leaders… Qassem Suleimani, a fanatical Islamic revolutionary, has rapidly become one of the world's top terrorist suspects, as well as a powerful and sinister force within Iran… The crowd of enraged student protesters who chanted "Death to Britain" as they terrorised a beleaguered group of British diplomats, know him as the head of Iran's feared Quds Force, the 15,000-strong paramilitary wing of Iran's Revolutionary Guards - and a primary suspect for organising the assault on the embassy… There were frightening moments at the height of the violence on Tuesday afternoon when it appeared that a rerun might be on the cards of the American embassy siege in 1979, when 50 American diplomatic staff were held hostage for 444 days…

* WeeklyStandard.com had the following interesting read posted on their website early Saturday and it starts off like this… In a little noticed ruling on Monday, November 28, a Washington, D.C. district court found that both Iran and Sudan were culpable for al Qaeda’s 1998 embassy bombings

…………….……..
As I’ve said in past post…
“It’s not if Iran is attacked… It’s WHEN!”
.
With the way the events are unfolding of late… it’s now looking like the WORLD has finally come on board, in full. The world has FINALLY woke up if I may… and after this embassy mess in Iran a few days back… they all seem to have gotten downright mad with Iran’s overall behavior on… EVERYTHING!
.
We can now only pray that the burden of taking down Iran’s Nuclear Program will not be left ONLY to our Israeli friends.
.
I’m slowly but surely beginning to believe that this burden will not be on the Israeli’s along. Time will tell… and sadly there isn’t much of that left.
.
Again… “It’s not if Iran is attacked… It’s WHEN!”

* The Daily Mail’s original report goes in part like this… Sources say the understanding at the top of the British Government is that Israel will attempt to strike against the nuclear sites ‘sooner rather than later’ - with logistical support from the US… A senior Foreign Office figure has revealed that ministers have been told to expect Israeli military action, adding: ‘We’re expecting something as early as Christmas, or very early in the new year.’… Officials believe President Barack Obama would have to support the Israelis or risk losing vital Jewish-American support in the next presidential election…

* BBC NEWS brings us the following report this Saturday afternoon and it starts off like this… Turkey has said it will challenge Israel's blockade of Gaza at the International Court of Justice, (ICJ)… It is the latest sign of strain between the countries since last year's Israeli action against ships heading for Gaza, in which nine Turks were killed… Foreign Minister Ahmed Davutoglu said Turkey did not accept the findings of a UN report which said Israel's blockade of Gaza was a legal security measure… His comments came a day after Turkey expelled the Israeli ambassador… It also halted military co-operation with Israel…

* CNN has this take on today’s news out of Israel and it starts off like this… An Israeli official Saturday dismissed as "strange" Turkey's actions, including its decision to expel Israel's ambassador, saying on Israeli television that his government "did well not to apologize" for a deadly raid last year on a Gaza-bound ship… Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon told CNN affiliate Channel 2 that "the entire fashion in which the Turks have acted is strange."… "Israel must not subject its foreign policy to caprices of others," he added. "The lack of cooperation does not hurt us alone, it damages the Turks as well."…
