* The Washington Post had the following AP report Thursday evening and it goes in part like this… “Israel is a sovereign state and it is the government of Israel, the Israeli army and security forces who are responsible for Israel’s security, future and survival,” he said… Mysterious blasts, computer viruses and assassinations have disrupted Iran’s nuclear program, and there has been speculation of Israeli involvement… Barak would not comment on that possibility, but said, “We are not happy to see the Iranians move ahead on this (program), so any delay, be it divine intervention or otherwise, is welcome.”…

* Here’s an interesting read at JPost.com I ran across late this Friday morning and it starts off like this… BERLIN – Iran plans to attack US armed forces stationed in Germany in the event of a US attack on its nuclear facilities, the mass-circulation Bild daily reported on Thursday… Authorities are investigating a German businessman suspected of espionage with intent to commit sabotage who they believe is in contact with the Iranian Embassy, according to the report… Read this report in full at link below…

* The Australian has this report posted-up on their website today and it starts off like this… The second blast in as many weeks at an atomic or missile facility has sparked Iranian denials and claims of accidents, but a new phase in efforts to destroy its nuclear ambitions is said to be under way… "Instead of overt action you have covert action. This is the new battlefront -- this is a new kind of war," an Israeli defence official said… The Israeli Defence Minister, in a radio interview yesterday, did little to dampen speculation that it had a role in the blast at Isfahan, located in central Iran, and an explosion at a missile base west of Tehran…

* Not to be left out… FoxNews.com had the following AP report posted-up on their website early Thursday evening and it starts off like this… Ignoring a presidential veto threat, the Democratic-controlled Senate on Thursday overwhelmingly approved a massive, $662 billion defense bill that would require the military to hold suspected terrorists linked to Al Qaeda or its affiliates, even those captured on U.S. soil… The vote was 93-7 for the bill authorizing money for military personnel, weapons systems, national security programs in the Energy Department, and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan in the fiscal year that began Oct. 1… Reflecting a period of austerity and a winding down of decade-old conflicts, the bill is $27 billion less than what President Barack Obama requested and $43 billion less than what Congress gave the Pentagon this year… Shortly before final passage, the Senate unanimously backed crippling sanctions on Iran as fears about Tehran developing a nuclear weapon outweighed concerns about driving up oil prices that would hit economically strapped Americans at the gas pump... The vote was 100-0…

* I ran across this article on The Telegraph website early this Sunday morning stateside and it starts off like this… His is not a face familiar to many in the West. But members of the rampaging Iranian mob which last week laid siege to the British Embassy in Tehran knew exactly what they were doing when they held aloft a picture of a grey-haired man, with downturned mouth and his beard more neatly trimmed than those of his country's religious leaders… Qassem Suleimani, a fanatical Islamic revolutionary, has rapidly become one of the world's top terrorist suspects, as well as a powerful and sinister force within Iran… The crowd of enraged student protesters who chanted "Death to Britain" as they terrorised a beleaguered group of British diplomats, know him as the head of Iran's feared Quds Force, the 15,000-strong paramilitary wing of Iran's Revolutionary Guards - and a primary suspect for organising the assault on the embassy… There were frightening moments at the height of the violence on Tuesday afternoon when it appeared that a rerun might be on the cards of the American embassy siege in 1979, when 50 American diplomatic staff were held hostage for 444 days…

As I’ve said in past post…

With the way the events are unfolding of late… it’s now looking like the WORLD has finally come on board, in full. The world has FINALLY woke up if I may… and after this embassy mess in Iran a few days back… they all seem to have gotten downright mad with Iran’s overall behavior on… EVERYTHING!
.
We can now only pray that the burden of taking down Iran’s Nuclear Program will not be left ONLY to our Israeli friends.

I’m slowly but surely beginning to believe that this burden will not be on the Israeli’s along. Time will tell… and sadly there isn’t much of that left.
