In the longest and most expensive Presidential campaign in American history (the 2002/04 campaign) the DNC’s base was searching for some excuse to believe that a madman like Saddam Hussein was not a threat; “not America’s problem.” Instead of preaching comfort, unity, and reassurance, they chose to divide a nation, undermine a war, and by pandering they chose to develop a base that now sympathizes with the enemy rather than with their own nation...
