Alleged Iraqi Sleeper Agent accused of coming to U.S. to spy on Saddam's Enemies, Convicted of Lying

An alleged Iraqi "sleeper agent" accused of coming to the United States to spy on Saddam Hussein's enemies was convicted Monday of lying about his ties to the former Baghdad regime. Sami Khoshaba Latchin... was convicted of lying on a citizenship application, lying to an FBI agent, conspiring to act as an unregistered foreign agent, failing to register as a foreign agent and illegally accepting Iraqi government pay... Authorities say he lied when he denied being a member of Iraq's Baath Party, and denied having worked for Iraq's intelligence service...
