No. 286-08 April 09, 2008DoD Identifies Army Casualties
The Department of Defense announced today the death of two soldiers who were supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom. They died April 7th in Sadr City, Iraq, when enemy forces attacked using a rocket propelled grenade. They were assigned to the 1st Squadron, 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment, Vilseck, Germany.
Killed were:
Spc. Jason C. Kazarick, 30, of Oakmont, Pa.
Sgt. Michael T. Lilly, 23, of Boise, Idaho
