The Department of Defense announced today the death of a Soldier who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
Pvt. Colman J. Meadows III, 19, of Senoia, Ga., died December 16th, at Forward Operating Base Ramrod, Afghanistan, of injuries sustained from a non-combat related incident. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 2nd Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Hood, Texas.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation.
