The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
Pfc. Patrick A. Devoe, II, 27, of Auburn, N.Y., died March 8th in Kandau Kalay, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when his vehicle was struck by an improvised explosive device. He was assigned to the40th Cavalry Regiment4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division, Fort Richardson, Alaska.
