The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Spc. Chad A. Edmundson, 20, of Williamsburg, Pa., died May 27th in Baghdad of wounds suffered when an improvised explosive device detonated near his unit while on a dismounted patrol. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 112th Infantry, 56th Stryker Brigade, Pennsylvania Army National Guard.
