The US Air Force is in charge of our Global Positioning System, better known to most as our GPS System… and they seem to be at least 3 years behind schedule on developing and deploying a new system into space.31 -24 and counting down

The US Air Force is all so said to be way over budget on this project and is in desperate need of more money approval from congress. The current IIF satellite program is reported to be $870 million over budget and launch of its first satellite has been pushed back to November 2009, or… three years behind schedule.
