Soldiers from the 3rd Brigade, 6th Iraqi Army Division, and Multinational Division Baghdad's 2nd Battalion, 22nd Infantry Regiment, located a large weapons cache and detained five suspected terrorists yesterday in northwestern Baghdad, military officials reported.

The cache included mortar rounds, PE-4 explosives, blasting caps, rocket-propelled grenades, RPG launchers, mortar systems, cell phones, long-range control transmitters and a charging base for the transmitters.

An explosive ordnance disposal team destroyed the munitions.
