Houston and Surrounding Areas WIDESPREAD FLOODING – More Rain to Come

.....Strong storms pounded the Houston area Monday, causing widespread flooding... and yes... rain is expected to continue throughout the day and tonight. During the Morning Rain Event, up to 10-12 inches of rain fell in a 3-hour period in some areas...

At 4:00pm CDT, local meteorologist Frank Billingsley said, “There is more rain on the way... It may be more than 10 inches of rain. The National Weather Service said that may be too low...”
