The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Spc. Adam M. Wenger, 27, of Waterford, Mich., died November 5th in Tunnis, Iraq, of injuries sustained during a non-combat incident. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 76th Field Artillery, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, Ga. The incident is under investigation.
