The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
Sgt. Marcos Gorra, 22, of North Bergen, N.J., died Feb. 21st at Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan, of wounds sustained while supporting combat operations. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, N.C.
