Yes- Help is in full force all over New Orleans but what about the rest of those Counties and Parishes that got destroyed by Hurricane Katrina??? Unfortunately-“Help is on the way” is still the motto for so many of those people that are still in the need of Disaster Relief-- even 7 days after the fact… That’s a sad thing too…

All I can say is that a lot of-- “How to make Disaster Relief and rescue efforts work much, much better the next time,” is going to have to be discussed… Some things went horribly wrong with the Katrina Disaster- and some things went just great… But debating these things today- this week… even in the next month will not be the time. There is too much on the plate right now to worry about all of that… But like everyone else, I know this discussion is going to have to take place and not to far off in the future. So let’s give that issue a rest for now and worry about what needs to be taken cared of and finished today…

Yet even with all of that said- I just got to ask you this one question…How many times have you seen the Mayor of New Orleans or the Governor of Louisiana out front on this Disaster in my state??? HOW MANY?????? That’s what I thought…. Leadership in my State of Louisiana--- I’m sorry we just don’t seem to have any... OK… That’s all I’m going to say on this till after all the living and all the dead have been appropriately and with dignity taken cared of… God bless my State of Louisiana. We got so much work to do…

** Short note to ponder-
The City of Baton Rouge which is also the Capital of Louisiana has doubled in size in just a little less than a week’s time. This has to be a major strain on the City/State Government and all the peoples who live in this Great City and State of mine......
** Bush-Clinton Katrina Fund has been set up: This fund will go streight to the Governor funds of Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama so they can focus the money at the problems at hand… Good plan from those two- over the hill Presidents… Just kidding!!!!!!
*******Closed******* and good night...
