At 8:30 AM EDT Tropical Storm Ophelia was about 70 miles east northeast of Cape Canaveral Florida. Ophelia is said to be meandering offshore… but essentially remains stationary. A northward drift is expected during the next 24 hours. Tropical Storm Ophelia has maximum sustained winds of near 60 MPH with higher gust… making Ophelia a STRONG TROPICAL STOTM.
