U.S. and Allies have disrupted al Qaeda WMD efforts

Air Force General Michael V. Hayden said lately in a little-noticed speech, that key successes in the war on terrorism have been made. "Most fundamentally, we have prevented any further attacks against the homeland," he said. General Hayden also noted that the United States and its allies disrupted al Qaeda’s efforts to acquire weapons of mass destruction.
