It was on this day... back during World War II, on June 06, 1944, that the invasion of Europe took place with the massive Allied Forces storming the beaches of Normandy, France.
Nearly 4,500 Allied and American troops lost their lives that day... That day that turned the course of World War II and that day that shall always be remembered as... “D-DAY.”
