Today in History - June 06, 1944 - “D-Day”

(Keeping this post on top today - Newer post after/below this one)

It was on this day... back during World War II, on June 06, 1944, that the invasion of Europe took place with the massive Allied Forces storming the beaches of Normandy, France.

Nearly 4,500 Allied and American troops lost their lives that day... That day that turned the course of World War II and that day that shall always be remembered as... “D-DAY.”

Freedom is not free.
God bless you all and thank you...
