Let’s see what has been going on over the last few hours...
The Jerusalem Post is reporting... A statement has been released by the three terrorist organizations that coordinated the kidnapping of IDF Cpl. Gilad Shalit and said... "We give the Zionist enemy until 6:00 tomorrow morning, Tuesday, July 4.” (That would be Monday, 10pm CDT our time.) "If the enemy does not respond to our humanitarian demands mentioned in previous leaflets on the conditions for dealing with the issue of the missing solder...we will consider the current file of the solider to be closed ... and then the enemy must bear all the consequences of the future results." I’ve been watching this-- drip... drip... drip of info coming in from YnetNews.com this afternoon and I can say to you right now that I’m not really sure what to make of it. Sounds like they got the three killers of teen settler Eliyahu Asheri... but I haven’t seen any other news organization reporting this story one way or the other. One of the Palestinian militant groups that abducted Israeli soldier Cpl. Gilad Shalit said no further information would be given on the captive's fate after Israel refused to meet a deadline today to free prisoners. "Discussion is closed," Abu al-Muthana, spokesman for the Islamic Army in the Gaza Strip, said. Abu al-Muthana also said he expected a joint statement later today. Read this story in full HERE
