No. 635-07 May 24, 2007DoD Identifies Army Casualties
The Department of Defense announced today the death of three soldiers who were supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom. They died May 21st in Baghdad, Iraq, of wounds suffered when multiple improvised explosive devices detonated near their vehicle. They were assigned to the 425th Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division, Fort Richardson, Alaska.
Killed were:
Staff Sgt. Shannon V. Weaver, 28, Urich, Mo.
Sgt. Brian D. Ardron, 32, of Acworth, Ga.
Spc. Michael W. Davis, 22, of San Marcos, Texas.
