The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Pfc. William A. Farrar Jr., 20, of Redlands, Calif., died May 11th in Al Iskandariyah, Iraq, of wounds suffered when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle. Farrar was assigned to the 127th Military Police Company, 709th Military Police Battalion, 18th Military Police Brigade, Darmstadt, Germany.
