The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
Maj. Larry J. Bauguess Jr., 36, of Moravian Falls, N.C., died May 14th in Teri Mengel, Pakistan, of wounds sustained from enemy small arms fire. He was assigned to the 4th Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, N.C.
