The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Sgt. Thomas G. Wright, 38, of Holly, Mich., died May 14th en route to Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Landstuhl, Germany, from a non-combat related illness while serving at Balad, Iraq. Wright was assigned to the 46th Military Police Company, 210th Military Police Battalion, Kingsford, Mich.
