The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Cpt. Michael A. Norman, 36, of Killeen, Texas, died January 31st in Baghdad, Iraq, of wounds suffered when his vehicle encountered an improvised explosive device. He was assigned to the Military Transition Team, 1st Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, Kan.
