The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Spc. Michael L. Gonzalez, 20, of Spotswood, N.J., died August 28th in Baghdad, of wounds suffered by an improvised explosive device. He was assigned to the 340th Military Police Company, Fort Totten, N.Y.
