AS OF 11:00am EDT, TROPICAL STORM FAY HAD MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS NEAR 45 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS. STRENGTHENING IS FORECAST DURING THE NEXT COUPLE OF
DAYS AND FAY COULD BE NEAR HURRICANE STRENGTH AS IT APPROACHES CENTRAL CUBA ON SUNDAY.
