The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Pfc. Paul Balint Jr., 22, of Willow Park, Texas, died December 15th in Ar Ramadi, Iraq, of injuries suffered when his unit came in contact with the enemy using small arms fire during combat operations. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 37th Armor Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, Friedberg, Germany.
