The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
Pfc. Conor G. Masterson, 21, of Inver Grove Heights, Minn., died April 7th in Eastern Afghanistan of wounds suffered when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle. Masterson was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 4th Infantry Regiment, Hohenfels, Germany.
