The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Capt. Drew N. Jensen, 27, of Clackamas, Calif., died September 7th in Seattle of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit using small arms fire during combat operations May 7th in Ba'qubah, Iraq. He was assigned to the 5th Battalion, 20th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division (Stryker Brigade Combat Team), Fort Lewis, Wash.
