The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
Sgt. Thomas P. McGee, 23, of Hawthorne, Calif., died July 6th of wounds sustained when his vehicle struck an improvised explosive device in Wazi Khwa, Afghanistan. He was assigned to the 546th Military Police Company, 385th Military Police Battalion, Fort Stewart, Ga.
