The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Sgt. Paul T. Sanchez, 32, of Irving, Texas, died January 14th in Baghdad, Iraq, of wounds suffered when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle. Sanchez was assigned to the 543rd Military Police Company, 91st Military Police Battalion, 10th Sustainment Brigade, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, N.Y.
