DoD Identifies Army Casualty

The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Cpl. Jeremiah J. Johnson, 23, of Vancouver, Wash., died January 6 in Baghdad, Iraq, of wounds suffered when his vehicle rolled over December 26 in Baghdad. Johnson was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 509th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division, Fort Richardson, Alaska. The incident is under investigation.
