The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Sgt. James S. Collins Jr., 35, of Rochester Hills, Mich., died August 28th in Kirkuk, Iraq, of wounds suffered during combat operations. He was assigned to the 303rd Military Police Company (Combat Support), U.S. Army Reserve, Jackson, Mich.
