The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Spc. Quincy J. Green, 26, of El Paso, Texas, died June 2nd in Tikrit, Iraq, of injuries sustained in a non-combat related incident. He was assigned to the 601st Aviation Support Battalion, 1st Combat Aviation Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, Kan. The incident is under investigation.
