Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell announced Tuesday night that they would hold a vote for their own version of the government's $700 billion financial rescue plan. A vote call will be scheduled for this Wednesday evening...

UPDATE: 8:22pm CDT
The Senate has finally started voting on final passage of their own Financial Bill... 60 votes are needed for passage and it looks like they will get at least 65 YEAS.

UPDATE: 8:38pm CDT

The final vote is in: 74 YEA25 NAY
THE BILL HAS PASSED!

NOTE: The House is expected to take up this Bill, that was just past by the Senate, this Friday.

I can’t wait to see how the Markets react in the morning over the passage of this Bill tonight...
