Hurricane Beta- Update Saturday, October 29, 2005
As of 11 PM EDT...
Hurricane Beta was heading for the Coast of Nicaragua with 105 MPH winds… with higher gust… and could even become stronger. Beta is a Category ONE Hurricane and some strengthening is forecast before Landfall in Nicaragua... Beta is expected to become a Category TWO Hurricane before it makes landfall along Nicaragua and could actually become a Category Three Hurricane... Estimated Minimum Central Pressure was 970 MB. Beta is moving toward the west near 5 mph... This general motion should continue during the next 24 hours. This track will bring the core of Beta near the Coast of Nicaragua early Sunday morning...
