Hurricane Wilma had Maximum Sustained Winds of near 85 MPH with higher gust... Satellite Imagery indicates that Wilma is merging with a frontal system and is losing its Tropical Characteristics... Additional weakening is forecast during the next 24 hours...
Wilma is moving toward the northeast near 53 mph... A turn toward the East-Northeast and a decrease in forward speed is expected during the next 24 hours... Hurricane Force Winds extend outward up to 53 miles from the Center and Tropical Storm Force Winds extend outward up to 430 miles...
