The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Cpl. Jason M. Kessler, 29, of Mount Vernon, Wash., died July 30th in northern Iraq of wounds suffered from a rocket-propelled grenade. He was assigned to C Company, 2nd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, Fort Lewis, Wash.
