The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
Capt. Bruno G. Desolenni, 32, of Crescent City, Calif., died September 20th in Kandahar, Afghanistan, of wounds sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle. He was assigned to the Joint Forces Headquarters, Element Training Team, Oregon Army National Guard.
