Iran in Iraq

Today... the Underbelly of Most of our Troubles in Iraq is Iran

After the killing of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, I for one thought we were close to getting a handle on the violence in Iraq. In fact... we were close. Very close.

In the first week or so after Zarqawi’s death... we killed or captured 100s if not thousands of the heads of many of the main terror groups in Iraq. In other words... al-Qaeda in Iraq was pretty much brought to their knees. Then Iran came flooding into the void... hard and heavy I might add... bringing gifts of cash, bombs, and other weapons, training and moral support to the worst of the militias that you now see leading most of the horrific violence in Iraq.

Now don’t get me wrong... al-Qaeda is still in Iraq and still causes many deaths and all kinds of trouble for the new Iraqi Government and the Iraqi people. But they are not the force they were when Zarqawi was alive.

Sunni on Shiite... Shiite on the Sunnis and the Sectarian Killings Continue

Many say... in fact more Americans than not believe as fact... Iraq has spilt into an all out Civil War. I would have to say that depends on your definition of Civil War. (Definition
HERE) I for one believe we are not there yet... but a many a bad person over there are sure trying to fuel it into being just that.

When all out genuine ethnic-cleansing runs rampant with Militias murdering men, women and children in mass numbers as they clear out neighborhoods in all parts of Iraq... then I too will come on board and say a Civil War is now in full force. But I do not see this kind of targeted extreme violence being waged today all over Iraq. In fact most of the violence you see on your TV today... or read in so many magazines and newspapers... is all coming from an area of around 30 miles in and around Baghdad. And by the way... those being killed are mostly men.

Now who seems to be fueling most of the violence in Iraq today??? Why none other than Muqtada al-Sadr... Who the heck is he? Glad you asked... He’s a well know Shiite cleric who controls one of Iraq's most violent religious militias. He’s also very much in bed with Iran. Oh yeah... Iran’s finger prints are all over what’s going on in Iraq.

The July War

This past summer, the war in Lebanon between Hizballah and Israel, (or as it is called by many, The July War,) should have given us all a clue as to what Iran is really all about and the goals they are trying to achieve.

I for one have concluded that besides for wiping Israel off the face of the earth... Iran SO much wishes to turn Iraq into a Puppet State of theirs... somewhat like Lebanon... along with pushing the U.S. out of the country and that part of the world all together. They will kill most anyone to achieve these goals too.

Let’s just face it. Iran wants to be the dominating force in the Gulf... the Middle East... the World. This is just hard fact. It’s a shame so many Americans can not see it though. And how could they... with all the underreporting going on by the news media these days.

MSM, the Dems, the Bush Administration and the American People

Sadly my friends too many in the MSM, along with so many in the Democratic Party, are leading the public view to coming to a false and very dangerous final conclusions on the war in Iraq. They are misleading what it is all about... that quitting will have no repercussions to their lives or this great country of ours... to the Iraqi people or anyone else in the Gulf, the Middle East, or those in Europe. This isn’t just sad... but it is also a very scary dark path so many are now willing to go down.

The continuing public debate over Iraq and the war on terror is going to be a very important and heated one this year. Being I see no change in the Dems or the MSM view on the war or how it will be presented... I hope everyone in the Bush Administration will now get out there and start doing some serious, (with no BS,) talking to the American people so we all know exactly what is really going on with this war.

We the American People deserve no less.
What say you...?
