Monday, May 21, 2007 - For a 2nd day in a row... the gun battle between the Lebanese Army and the Fatah al-Islam militants in the Palestinian, Nahr el-Bared refugee camp in the northern port city of Tripoli, Lebanon continues to escalate into heavy fighting along with heavy tank and artillery fire.

In the last two days... the Lebanese Army is said to have taken its most causalities since the Lebanese 1975-1990 Civil War.

Note: Lebanese are claiming this morning that the militants they are fighting have ties to al-Qaeda and some are even saying that this is all has ties back to Syria.
