Pyongyang vows it will not be bound by the terms of a 56-year-old armistice, if South Korea or the United States searches its vessels under an American-led nonproliferation initiative… North Korean military representatives warned South Korea, Wednesday, its decision to join an American-led security arrangement is being seen as a "declaration of war."… The statement, delivered by North Korean military representatives in the demilitarized zone separating the two Koreas, was read on North Korean television…

N. Korea Threatens Attack on South If Vessels are Inspected

> FOXNews.com reports today’s news this way… North Korea is trying to return to a Korean War with the South, threatening a powerful military strike and claiming it will no longer honor the 1953 Armistice that ended the conflict that divided the peninsula. But U.S. military and Obama administration officials are calling much of the rhetoric "bluster."… "North Korea continues to isolate itself. Threats and bluster will not get North Korea the attention and respect it craves," one senior White House official told FOX News… One senior U.S. defense official said a lot of what is going on in terms of North Korean threats is bluffing and bravado.
