Golf Great Tiger Woods gave a heartfelt apology late this Friday morning to everyone in the world to see and for those who would listen. And from what I saw and heard... apology accepted!
.
Tiger gave his remarks in front of a small group of friends, colleagues and close associates at the TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. Tiger discussed his past and his future, and he deeply apologized, to ALL, for his behavior and mistakes.
.
On Tiger Woods official website... his staff wrote this prior to his remarks... While Tiger feels that what happened is fundamentally a matter between him and his wife, he also recognizes that he has hurt and let down a lot of other people who were close to him. He also let down his fans. He wants to begin the process of making amends, and that's what he's going to [did] discuss.

Post Date: Sunday, September 13, 2009
USAToday.com has the following report posted up on their website this Sunday afternoon and it starts off like this... The House of Representatives appears headed for a vote to formally rebuke Rep. Joe Wilson this week for heckling President Obama after the South Carolina Republican refused Sunday to apologize on the House floor... "The House likely will take up a resolution," Brendan Daly, a spokesman for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., told USA TODAY. "He violated the decorum of the House; it has to be resolved in the House."... Daly's comments came after Wilson said on Fox News Sunday that he would not deliver a speech of apology on the House floor that some of his Democratic colleagues demanded... "I have apologized to the president," he said. "I believe that is sufficient."...

House may vote on formal rebuke for Rep. Wilson outburst

Fox News has this take on all of this and is well worth reading...
Rep. Joe Wilson said Sunday that he will not apologize on the House floor for his outburst during President Obama's health care address, even though Democratic leaders have threatened to formally discipline him if he does not... Wilson noted that he already apologized directly to the White House after shouting, "You lie," to the president during his Wednesday address to a joint session of Congress. The outburst triggered a political firestorm, but Wilson told "FOX News Sunday" that Democrats are just "playing politics" by trying to drag out the issue and force another apology... "I've apologized one time. The apology was accepted by the president, the vice president. ... I am not apologizing again," he told "FOX News Sunday." "I believe that is sufficient."... Wilson said he would "never do something like that again," but continued to defend himself...

Don’t give in to them, Congressman Wilson. We got your back out here in the Homeland!
Thank you for standing firm on the truth too...
I believe any forced apologies from here on out, by anyone or group, is just BAD Politics... So hang in there and stand firm... for all of us!
