On Saturday, May 5th, 2012, the Moon was at its closest point to the earth, (that is until next year,) making it 14% larger than normal in the evening sky. It was so COOOL watching it rise in real time that evening. It was so big… and really a sight to see.

Sooo… Turn up the volume and watch this video in real time and see just how fast the moon really rises off the horizon.

NOTE: Use the telephone pole and lines to gauge the moon’s movement!

Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen and legendary aircraft designer Burt Rutan have teamed up on a new winged rocket that would be carried aloft by a gargantuan twin-fuselage mothership and then dropped from 30,000 feet for the climb to orbit, they announced today… The new rocket will be funded by Allen through a new company known as Stratolaunch Systems and built by Space Exploration Technologies, or SpaceX, of Hawthorne, California…

* CBS has the following take on these past UFO reports and it starts off like this... Whatever the mysterious lights in the sky were, they seemed to have an interest in our nukes... One of the more out-of-the-ordinary press conferences held in Washington this week consisted of former Air Force personnel testifying to the existence of UFOs and their ability to neutralize American and Russian nuclear missiles...
