DoD Identifies Army Casualty

The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Pfc. Brian A. Browning, 20, of Astoria, Ore., died February 6th in Baghdad, Iraq, of wounds suffered from enemy small arms fire while conducting security operations. Browning was assigned to the 4th Battalion, 31st Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, N.Y.
